Overdue and Replacement Fines

Page history last edited by Linda Holmes 11 years, 10 months ago

$0.25  per day, per item, for each day any regular circulating material is overdue

$1.00  per hour for overdue reserve and reference material

$3.00  per day for overdue non-course reserve audio and video cassettes and DVDs

For lost, damaged, destroyed, or unreturned materials, the borrower will be charged $85.00.  This includes a $70.00 replacement cost for the item and a $15.00 processing fee.

Reserve and Reference materials are considered "lost" if they are not returned after two days.

At the end of each semester, the library will forward a list of students who have outstanding library fines or replacements charges to the Registrar's Office for collection.

For those students who are graduating and have unpaid fines and overdue or lost books, notices will be placed on their records at the Registrar's Office that will prevent these students from graduating and taking the bar exam unless their library fines are cleared.
